Flickr take two

How much do I LOVE my Flickr account?!?!?! I upgraded to a Flickr Pro account, and I have been spending many happy hours at home uploading all of my photos, and organsing them into sets and collections. I am yet to explore other people's photos, as I've dedicated so much time to my photostream, but I know that this untapped territory will also provide me with many more hours of surfing!! (which appears to be the case with everyone who has gotten into flickr in this course!!!)

Anyway, I wanted to make my link clickable, so here goes:
My photostream

re photos, pics and stuff, I'll post something shortly on my own Blog, but just out of curiosity:

Dear Astrosloth,
Have you loaded a SlideShow on your Blog?

Reason I ask is that my view of your Blog says: slideshow: feed could not be loaded

But I can see my own slideshow (feed from Flickr) fine.

Just wondering?
cheers.

I can view Astrosloth's photostream... is this what you mean Lindy?

P.S. nice to see another cat lover :)

1. Cats - yes!

2. Photostream - nooo ...
By photostream, I think Kate means the link to the Flickr pics within the blog post?

What I was referring to is the slideshow link in the LHS menu, wondering if Web 2.0 apps are us has created a link to Flickr here? Maybe not?

Yay- cat lovers!

As to the photostream link- yes that's working, but the slideshow is not working. It worked the other day, by linking to my flickr account, but doesn't seem to be working now. When I went into the slideshow settings, and re-submitted my flickr username details, the slideshow that came up on my blog was for the keyword 'sunsets' ie: other people's photos of sunsets (and rather random pictures of ladies lying on beaches for that matter!) NOT my photos!

Will try again later. It may be a glitch in the applications trying to talk to each other...

Has anyone else had this problem with their slideshows? I know that Lindy had to use her flickr ID number, whereas I didn't....

Lindy: Maybe we are using two different slideshow applications?

Hi Astrosloth

This first time I installed slideshow, like you, I got random others' pics - I think I was able to select some theme, so that I didn't get pics I didn't particulary care for.

But to get my own photos from Flickr to appear on my Blog, I did have to insert the link to my own Flickr account - hence the hassle re having to find my own Flickr ID number.
